The capital of Denmark is Scandinavia's most fantastic city, and part of the most dynamic region in Northern Europe, the Öresund Region. The city is one of Europe's oldest capitals with a royal touch - the Danish monarchy being the oldest in the world! Not too big, not too small, just the right size, Copenhagen enjoys all the benefits of being Denmark's capital city - and therefore on the international circuit - and a major provincial connurbation at the same time - packed with an abundance of history, castles, museums and sights and vibrant with culture - all easily accessible.
The great joy of Copenhagen is its compact size, which means that most of its main sights and attractions can be seen on foot.

Think also about doing some shopping on Ströget! The atmosphere is fabulous!

You can also take a short ride and check how other Scandinavians are doing: With the Öresund Bridge, the motorway and railway link, it takes only 30 minutes by train from Copenhagen City Centre to the city centre of Malmö, Sweden. Naturally, you must seize such a great opportunity to see more of the North!
